I’m not an artistic painter

I recently shared my first attempt at painting (acrylics) with Anthony Ardavin, who is a painter and sculptor originally born in Cuba. Luckily I did not take his critique to heart since I’m not an aspiring artist, at least not in this form. I first shared the final work also showing him my inspiration, and then I shared it in the middle of completion. Unfortunately, he preferred the second image, the one where I’m in the middle of completion… He was able to point out things that I didn’t notice. This often happens when we’re too close to something and it can be anything you’re working on…

Anthony’s paintings reflect a quality of tranquility. You will often see a body of water in some kind of form or shape in his art work. A glimpse of his work can be found on his website. http://www.anthonyardavin.com/
