The Graduate Certificate in Museum Studies at FIU
Class:Museum Ethics, Policies and Procedures
Students enrolled in Introduction to Museum Ethics, Policies and Procedures were challenged to work as a team with a pre-selected group of artwork from the Frost Art Museum’s Permanent Collection. They were faced with a topic new to many of them – Pre-Columbian Art. This exhibit is an intense, hands-on activity that FIU Museum Studies students take part in. Shards of the Past: Pre-Columbian Art from the Frost Art Museum is the result in this experiment in exhibition development.
This exhibition was created and conceptualized by the Museum Studies students and directed by Annette B. Fromm, PhD
